Les étoiles du désert, dîner de gala
Les Chefs Yoann Conte, Édouard Loubet, Adrien Turpin-Bron et
Quentin Thévenard cuisinent ensemble pour l’Association Les Puits du Désert.
Le soir du 23 septembre 2022, 180 convives se réunissent à l’Hôtel Imperial Palace à Annecy, une soirée organisée par le rotary club.
On the menu, a dinner to tantalize the taste buds of the guests, without forgetting the objective of the evening: to be all together for a good cause.
Project presentation :
Association les Puits du Désert helps people in Africa (Niger) in the fields of rural development through access to water, health, education and handicrafts. The association has been taking up this challenge for 20 years.
Its main tasks are :
- Access to water through the construction of hydraulic structures,
- Reducing infant mortality through access to drinking water,
- Access to schooling through the construction of schools,
- Access to basic healthcare through the construction of health centers and huts,
- Emergency food aid and support.
Grâce à cette association, plus de 360 puits d’eau ont pu être construits. Une tombola solidaire ainsi qu’une vente aux enchères, ont été organisés afin de continuer à aider cette organisation.
Si l’on sait que seulement 5% de la population Africaine à accès à l’eau potable, c’est tout naturellement que nous avons accepté cette année de cuisiner pour cette cause : celle de l’eau, celle de la vie.
