Booking, payment, and guarantee conditions

1. Booking

The general terms and conditions of sale and cancellation applicable to online reservations or reservation requests are clearly stated in the relevant forms. Online reservation systems require you to check the box indicating “acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale” before confirming your reservation.

In accordance with Article L.121-21-8(12) of the Consumer Code, customers are reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L.121-21 of the Consumer Code in respect of accommodation services.

Tourist taxes, where applicable, are specified on the accommodation provider’s invoice. They are not included in the amounts quoted at the time of booking. The setting of these taxes is beyond the control of SAS YOANN CONTE BORD DU LAC.

2. Booking guarantee

Pour toute réservation effectuée en ligne ou à distance (email ou téléphone), une garantie par carte bancaire est demandée.

This guarantee may take the form of a bank pre-authorisation requiring strong customer authentication (SCA), in accordance with the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

We require a deposit of 100% of the booking total. Payment can be made by VISA, Mastercard or American Express. For payments made by bank transfer, the full amount for the stay will also be required.

3. Payment

For your financial transactions, the yoann-conte.com website uses a secure external payment solution. Credit card payments are processed directly on the payment provider’s secure server.

At no point is the customer’s credit card number disclosed to SAS YOANN CONTE BORD DU LAC.

For certain rates, particularly ‘non-cancellable, non-refundable’ rates, payment in full for the stay may be required at the time of booking. This payment is made via a secure transaction requiring strong customer authentication (SCA). In accordance with the terms and conditions of these rates, no refund will be issued in the event of cancellation or modification.

Due to an increase in unpaid bills, we no longer accept payments by cheque.

4. Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be made by email. We cannot accept cancellation requests made by telephone.

The applicable cancellation terms are as follows:

* Cancellation free of charge if made more than 5 days before arrival.

* Cancellation less than 5 days (inclusive) before the arrival date, or in the event of a no-show, a change to the booking, or early departure: the full amount will be charged. If your booking was made using a gift voucher, the voucher will be used in full to cover the cancellation fee.
